Your running data stays with you
Road to 5K is published by Firetruck Productions Ltd. The app does not send your health data, workout history, profile, or coaching decisions to our servers. There are no app accounts, advertising SDKs, tracking, or third-party analytics.
Health and fitness information
With your permission, the app uses Apple HealthKit to read heart rate, walking and running distance, and active energy during workouts, and saves coached workouts to Apple Health. Workout summaries, progress estimates, your starting ability, optional age, optional effort ratings, and preferences are stored on your devices. Your paired iPhone and Apple Watch exchange plans, settings, workout results, and subscription access information using Apple services.
Subscriptions
Apple handles payments and subscription management. The app uses StoreKit to verify subscription access on your device. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide sales reports and diagnostics according to your Apple settings and its privacy policy.
Your choices
Age and post-workout effort feedback are optional. You can change Health permissions in Apple Health or Settings. Deleting the app from both your iPhone and Apple Watch removes its local app data; workouts saved in Apple Health remain until you remove them there. Device backups and Apple Health syncing follow your Apple settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscriptions.
Support and this website
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, and use it to respond to your request. Please do not send sensitive health information. Visiting this website is separate from using the app; our hosting providers process ordinary connection information needed to serve the pages.
